Spring – villagers are busy working in the rice terraces, irrigating them with water that shimmers under cool skies; flowers bloom throughout the countryside--Rhododendrons, Peach Blossoms, Cole Flowers, Cherry Blossoms and Camelias.
Summer – the rice is green and lush but the weather is mild. The blue skies and stunning views will take your breath away. A light sweater or rain jacket might be useful some days or evenings, but if some rain sprinkles down, you might enjoy it.
Fall – terraces turn to elegant golden yellow hues, and the province has festivities and cultural celebrations to prepare for the harvest in mid-October.
Winter – the mountains are covered with white snow, enhancing the scenery’s mystery. Longsheng has hot springs, but the lodge is always warm and cozy.
